I am searching for information about my ancestor John Reid and his descendants. John Reid was born in Fenwick circa 1815. He married Mary Barclay at Paisley in 1845. The couple lived at Montgreenan and had three children, William, Janet and Elizabeth. The family left Scotland in 1855 as bounty immigrants to Tasmania (Australia).
