Next door to them were John Reid and wife, Elizabeth. John Reid died before 1860 Census because his wife and children appear in the 1860 Census in Dawson County, Georgia. JH Dorsey came from Pickens County, SC. I am assuming Sarah and her brother, John Reid were also from Pickens. Sarah Reid was JH Dorsey's second wife. His first wife was Sarah Denney, d/o Joshua Denney. I am not looking for any Denney information because I am not related to them. I'm only interested in the Reid family.
