Just for the record John Reid and Margaret Kent had 3 other children Thomas b 1840, Robert b 1841 and Patrick b. 1843. John and Bridget Reid also had 3 other children Wilbert Wendall b 1891,John Thomas b 1893 and Alice Marion b 1894. I believe I have most of the information while they were in Canada except for the date of arrival and port of arrival in Canada Do you know how I could search for this information? What I am really stuck on is trying to find sources of information in Ireland,. I know from the church marriage records that John was a resident of Kings Co, (Offaly ) and Margaret was from County Wexford. I have reason to think that John may have come from in or around the city of Birr in King's County But I have not been able to access any records for either of them. Do you know of any records I could access or is there a reputable genealogy source that you could recommend?.
