Just so you know someone else is out here and watching the Reid postings. I will repost my REID's My REID family comes from the little town of Dunfanghy in Co Donegal Ireland. I assume they came over here in the late 1870's to early 1880's. They were a lttle band of orphans that were sent to live with relitives already here in Philadelphia. Although some were in Canada also. Below is my descendency chart should it look familiar to anyone. The children of George & Jane McCullough Reid were sent to live with relatives. 5 to the US, one to Scotland and the other was fostered out. It was done by the "Orphan society of Ireland". I also may mention that Robert John , my Great Grandfather married his first cousin Elizabeth McKinley. I have found some McKinley relitives in New Zealand.
