Her parents were Alexander Reid and Alverta/Alberta Phoebe Hatfield. Don't have all the children for Alexander and his wife, what I have is from the 1880c MO, Lawrence County, Pierce or Pierce City Township. Says Alexander was 40 (b. 1840) in Scotland and both his parents were born in Scotland. The wife, Alberta is listed as only 22 and born in Iowa. Does not have where her parents were born. (Very difficult to read) Children listed: Francis (son) age 1 b. MO (dau) Jessie was 2 months old, b. MO Living with them were three other children listed as step-sons, step-daughter. This was very difficult to read --- looked as if their last name was Hanner. R. (only initials) son age 8, George age 6 and Lillie age 3 or 5. This was on page 514 ---- #262/265 (hardly readable) The daughter, Jennie Mabel, married Clinton Alva Robinson about 1903 in Pierce City, MO. They had at least 10 children. They moved to Colorado then to Kansas. Alberta Phoebe Hatfield was born 15 Aug 1858 in Iowa. I have her parents as: William and Abigail Hatfield. Some of this information has come from family notes --- I've just started trying to add to it. (Researching for a friend, as she knows I have been doing this type of research for over 25 years.) Seemed a possibility we were talking about the same family. Hope so -- BB
