I do NOT have a wife for William Hatfield -- the Abigail turned out to be part of "Alverta's" name. In another article, I found where William had been married three times. 1. Charlotte VanCamp or Campbell 2. Unknown 3. Martha Bowen (maybe) Still researching --- going to the Wichita Library today -- In the family notes, given to me, it said Alexander Reid was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. !!???? Also, not certain if the death date, I have, of 20 Jan 1892, belongs to Alverta or her father William??? Have William's birthdate as 10 Dec 1826 IN --- have two birthdates for Alverta. 15 Aug 1858 or 16 Oct 1855, Iowa --- perhaps Henry County. BB
