Obviously, I'm trying to do too much at one time. I just got back from a trip and am trying to play catch up. It dawned on me that Arthur J. Reid must have been the one you mentioned who died in 1973. I'm doing this research for my sister-in-law, and she told me that Arthur sent all his daughters to college at Portola, and his daughters were born between 1914 and 1924. So of course he couldn't have sent them to college if he died in 1929. He was a school teacher and at least one of his daughters was, also. Appreciate all your help.
