Taken from another list. No other info. Reid, Frank C.; The Vidette - September 03, 1925: Mr. Frank C. Reid died at his home in St. Petersburg, Florida Saturday, August 29th. His death was very unexpected. A telegram was received by his brother, Mr. Sam P. Reid announcing his death and he immediately left for St. Petersburg. The body will be brought to Iuka for interment but at this writing it is not known when it will arrive. Sisters of the deceased, Mrs. Chas Rice of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. J. Edmond Jones of Mobile, Ala., were summoned and have arrived. The Vidette - September 10, 1925: In Appreciation - We wish to thank individually each person who so kindly and lovingly expressed sympathy through word and helpful acts of service during this our recent bereavement, the death and burial of our brother, Frank C. Reid. Especially we mention the kindness of Mr. Bayles Williams, who for several days kept flowers in his ice house; also the services of the town’s worthy pastors of the Methodist and Baptist churches, Bros. Jones and Landers. In fact each kindness, each floral offering and every thoughtful, helpful word of sympathy has been noted and will always be remembered.
