Greetings REID listers, My name is Jacqueline Reid. I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Charles Reid, born c1875 in either Michigan or Minnesota. He moved to Denver, Colorado at some point in the 1890s and married Edyth McCloy. Their children included John Grant Reid, Geraldine Reid, Gowan Reid (who eventually moved to California and died there), and two Charles Reids. He may also have been related to a Grant Reid (possibly a brother or cousin) who also lived in Denver during the early 1900s. I am trying to trace Charles's roots, including any parents or siblings. I am also looking for my half uncle, Wallace Reid, son of John Grant Reid. Wallace fought and was injured in the Korean War and was probably age 18-20 at the time of the war. He may be living in California. Unfortunately I don't know much more. Any help on either inquiry would be appreciated. I'm glad to see that the activity on this list has picked up!
