I'm tracking Reids in Canada so I checked the Wisconsin marriage index for your Alex S. Reid. Carrie Bartlett was indeed married 14 Nov 1892 in Barron County, however there's no corresponding entry for Alex S. Reid. The only other entry for 14 Nov 1892 in Barron County is George W. Beckwith.
