I am just getting started on researching my gggggrandmother Mary Reed that was married to John McKenzie, (her 2nd marriage). They married in 1808 in Scioto Co., Ohio. Mary was born 6 Apr 1787 in Virginia. I have a copy of her fathers estate papers from Gallia Co., Ohio. His name was Patrick Reed and her mother was Mary . Her siblings were Charles, Elsie who married Samuel McMurtry, and James, the youngest, that was married to Jane ??. That is all that is named in the estate papers but I guess could have had other children. Mary was first married to John Crow in 1804 at Gallia Co., OH.
