Hi 'Reid Family Researchers' ~ ~ I am searching for the parents and siblings of William Andrew Reid ~ born 18 May 1855 in Perry County, Alabama. He married Sarah Frances Lovelady 6 Jan 1878 in Perry County, Alabama. She was the daughter of William Morgan and Sarah (Fulton) Lovelady Jr. William Andrew's death certificate lists his father as William W. Reid ~ ~ I continue to hit a 'brick wall' when looking for William W. The 1880 census listed William Andrew's parents as born in Alabama. They had eleven children. Martha, Mary Q. (my husband's grandmother.) Lula and John born in Alabama. William, Sarah and their children migrated from Selma, Alabama to Mississippi about 1889 where Lillie and Versa were born. Between 1893 and 1898 the migrated to Polk County, Arkansas with the Hawks Wagon group. Myrtle Ola and Arminda were born in Arkansas; three infants names unknown.
