He has found info that a Sarah Reid Smith had a son named Jacob Reid and a daughter by second husband James Smith Patsey who married William Romans. Sarah was living in Rockbridge or Amherst Co. VA. "" and she died in Gerrard Co. KY 1819 leaving a will."" We would love to know if this Jacob Reid is the one who married Mary Elizabeth Staton. in Amherst Co.
