I have recently found some notes written by my GG-Uncle Walton Scott "Jack" Reid who was born in 1904 in Hart County, KY. His father was William Cornelius Reid; born July 1, 1844 near Lancaster, OH; married Lucy Ann Coleman on Dec. 6, 1877, in Gainesville, KY; died Dec. 8, 1906, in Canmer, Hart County, KY. He and Lucy raised 11 children in Hart Co. William's father (according to Uncle Jack's notes) was "William Reid; born in Scotland; married Mary Shields? (born in OH); died about 1896 in Barren Co., KY; believed to be buried in a small community near Glasgow in Barren Co., KY. He was a Baptist Minister and a Medical Doctor who originally settled in Hagerstown, MD, from Scotland. Then moved on to Utica, OH, at one time lived in Columbus, OH, then to KY. Does this connect to anyone, or does anyone have any info to corroborate Uncle Jack's notes? Thanks, Christy Bennett
