I am assuming it is actually "Sara", but don't even know that for sure. This photo was found in an old album of my 2nd great-grandmother's, Josephine Steenson-Bowman. She lived in Almont by the mid 1870's. Most of the photos appear to be from that era (late 1870's to early 1880's). I've been trying to find any possible connection. It may be that they were just friends. I would guess that Sara is probably about 20 years old in this photo thus born in the 1850's. If you want to email me directly you can at ranzac216@hotmail.com.
