I have a first cousin four times removed one Templeton Reid who was a blacksmith, jeweler, gunsmith or handyman depending on the source of the data. He was also the fella who moved from Milledgeville, Georgia to Gainesville, George and developed a business smelting and coining the local gold during the goldrush in northern Georgia. Templeton Reid was born between 1756 and 1760 in Georgia and was the son of Alexander Reid Jr., the brother of Captain Samuel Reid who I am descended from. I cannot find any information about the family and possible descendants of Templeton Reid. Does anyone know anything about his family? Gordon Reid Hale, Jr. Grand Prairie, Texas
