Hello again Don, There is a 22 Oct. 1804 Garrard Co. KY marriage bond for William Reid of Madison Co. and Sally Woods with consent provided by James Woods, father of the bride. She is most likely the daughter of James Woods and Mary Garland. Bondsman was William Woods. In the early, 1980's I corresponded with Gene Reid of Neosho, MO, a descendant of William & Sarah Reid. He listed as children of the couple: 1. Miriam Reid (I believe she married Alexander Reid Oldham), 2. Mary Reid, 3. Sylvester Reid (I believe he married Elizabeth Hubbard), 4. Elizabeth Reid, and 5. Anderson Reid. I suspect he copied that information from page 217 of Miller's book. I am not sure what the primary evidence of this list of children is.
