He had at least 4 sons - my Grandmother talked about uncles Jim, Arthur and Harold. Her father, i.e. James's son, was John Henry REID who married Fanny Harriet CAREY. They lived on a small holding between Kyeburn and Kokonga. They had three children Alfie (who died about 1919), Frances Ethel (1908-2006 - my grandmother), and John Henry (Jack) who died in 1941 in El Alamein. I had placed Bridget O'Donnell arriving on a boat (the Pomond) in 1876 and marrying later that year, rather than in 1875. I may have this wrong - what was the source of your info? Married Catherine Reid on 4 Dec 1836 Little Dunkeld Perthshire . Catherine Reid b. 1815 Little Dunkeld Perthshire. c. 6/5/1815 Little DunkeldPerthshire . Parents of John Robertson. John Robertson & Janet Carmichael Married Little Dunkeld 12/12/1802. Children of John Robertson & Janet Carmichael. John b.12/12/1807 Little Dunkeld Perthshire.
