I too have been following this line for some time, the DNA results do not look favorable.Why is our test results so much different that all the other Reeves who have tested? Have been desperately looking for other males of our line to be tested.They have about died out. We definitely need more test from anyone that can trace there roots to central Ga. I also have been following the Cobb Co. Ga. line in the census records since you made the post about it. My thanks to everyone, James
James, I saw your posting to the list about central GA Reeves. My line is out of an Eli REEVES who came into GA early in the 1800's out of NC and ended up in what is now Fulton County, but was once old Campbell County. He is first enumerated there in 1850. One of his sons went to TX and one settled in Carroll County. I descend from a daughter. Would you be interested in any of this information?
