    3. Reeves Immigrants Many seem to be have the impression that there are few Reeves Immigrants to the United States and New World (the Islands) before the late 1800’s but a book that I have a copy of called “The New World Book of Reeves” published in 1998 has nearly 9 pages of names and sources (publications) of early Reeves immigrants. Granted many are females and could not pass the name along and many are late arrivals to the islands and west coast and could not have generated the descendents that many of us are following from the East Coast and Westward. However, I will give a few names, dates and sources that many of us might be interested in tying back to. Many of these immigrants may not have had offspring and many may have had a common ancestry in Europe so the validity and need for DNA testing is still there. You will have to check the sources for yourself. Banks, Charles Edward. Topographical Dictionary of 2885 English Emigrants.
