Hi James, I saw your posting and just thought I'd run this by you. My great great grandmother was Marietta Jane Reeves. My grandmother said she was from Covington, Georgia, but when I looked at the map of Georgia, I saw that there is a Marietta, GA which looks like it might be in Cobb Co. You mentioned that you were following the Cobb Co. line of Reeves. Does Marietta sound familiar to you? I haven't been able to trace back any farther than her and would love to find out who her parents were. Thanks!
