Dear Walter, Glad to see you back on the FREMONT board. You have so much history it amazes me to no end. Thank you so much for all your postings. I am related to the IRWIN, REEVES & HANING families of Fremont County. I believe Burwell Irwin, (my G-Grandfather) lived in Ross Twp., Fremont Co. He married Della Mariah Reeves, daughter of 1808 Joseph Reeves, born Alexander Twp., Athens Co. Ohio. Mariah & Burwell were originally born in Meigs County, Ohio. Burwell is said to have died of heart failure, after a day of labor in the fields. Aug.23,1878. Burwell's oldest son, Isaac Curtis Irwin, who was 16 at the time, died just 1 day after his father, Aug.24th,1878 cause unknown. This seems strange to me that both died so close together unless it was some type of sickness, such as Yellow Fever or ??
