SueD. My inquiry was directed to you but anyone with info..... My family is from TX. We recently found that our grandfather was unoficially adopted by the Cox family in TX as an infant. He took the name of Rudyard Wesley Cox and married Laura Ava Dunsworth... Laura is descended from the Reeves line by was of her mother, Martha (Ann or Amie) Reeves. Her husband was Milton Ivy Dunsworth (approx,1890). Marthas parents.... as far as we know were John Wm. Reeves (DK or DR) married ~1850 to Martha ?? Other names who have recently been discovered are.... Wm. Walter Johnson married Nancy Emeline Reaves Gladys Johnson married James Reeves I dont know how they are related but old family photos say they are....I'm assuming they are all from the lower mid west area ... especially TX and OK... some coming from TN as that is where my grandfathers real mom was from. Her name was Charity Goins/ Johnson/Wallace. We also have the name Leatherman somewhere in the line... but dont know exactly where.... That side of the family has been very closed lipped and we have only been able to ferrit out small pieces of the puzzle at a time...... any help??? Thanks, Diana
