Andrew I read your e mail with interest. I have Reeves and Harper ancestors and when I saw the Susan Harper from Butts County, wondered if you have her family. My ancestor William A. Harper, son of John Nairn Harper, married in Butts county, (his second marriage) to a Jemima Bankston. We have been unable to find out for sure who he married the first time, some say Elizabeth Manning, some say Virginia. The first wife died in 1836 . My Tyre Reeves , son of Abner, had a brother Asa.
