Dear List, After we found matching DNA in our group we began to work with finding the direction that we needed to follow. Leroy Reeves found in Cobb Co. was the last known ancestor for Richard who is a part of our group. Leroy apparently has a brother Littleton Reeves. Thompson Reeves b. 1799 was my oldest proven ancestor. It had always been a point of interest for me that Thompson had a grandson named Littleton Reeves I had never found any connection although the name Littleton is a little rare. The parents of Thompson's Littleton was James Marion and Mary Ann Childers Reeves. They are my great grandparents. After some other leads came up Richard and I felt our line probably headed toward William of Granville in some way through James, Jeremiah, Sr. and Jeremiah's sons JeremiahJr. and Malachiah and maybe some of their children. We have not found that link as yet. Those of you who know me know I am rather expecting to find a John Reeves for my ancestor. Littleton Reeves with Ler! oy does seem to have a John Reeves in his line. Beulah's line goes to Joel Avery Reeves and Barry's line proceeds to Willis the son of William and Elizabeth Lawson Reeves. The process of working with others really helps even if we are just fielding ideas. You feel less alone. My proven ancestor is Thompson Reeves b. 1799 If any of you have any thoughts on these We would be glad to hear. Our group also seeks to find a connection with Joel Avery Reeves and William and Elizabeth Lawson Reeves through their son Willis in addition to Leroy Reeves. Listmate Richard has worked many years in the legal and management department of the NASA Space Program. I know all of us share happiness that the Space Shuttle is on the ground with every one safe. Tommie
