John M. Reeves b. abt 1807 in Tennessee. He lived in Hawkins Co., TN. Married Artimesa Broyles in Greene Co., TN. They had James F. Reeves who was b. 1841 in Russellville, Jefferson Co., TN., but later lived with his parents in nearby Hawkins Co., TN. James appears in Rogersville, Hawkins Co. in the 1860 census. James joined Union army (9th TN Cavalry) in Rogersville. Anything ring a bell with anyone?
