Richard Reeves of PA, son John D. Reeves B. 1780 married Mary Dill , B. 1780 in Belfast,Ireland (parents were Mathew Dill, B. Ireland and Mary ? B. Ireland)Mathew and Mary had James,Thomas, Matthew, Mary, John, Ann (Nancy) and Sarah. James married Jean Armstrong in 1743. James and Jean had Matthew, Mary, Margaret, Thomas, James,jr.,William, Rebecca, Jean, Armstrong, John and Robert. Thomas married Rebecca Hamilton when he returned to Ireland. They had two children in Ireland, James and Mary, the rest born in PA, near Harrisburg, probably Dillsburg. Rest of children were Eleanor, Margaret, Robert, John, Nancy, Thomas, Rebecca, Jane Isabelle, Andrew, Hamilton and Charlotte. Mary, married John D. Reeves, B. 1780 in PA.,son of Richard Reeves. Mary and John D. Reeves migrated to Ohio. Then later to Indiana, Lafayette. Children of Mary and John D. Reeves were Phoebe who married Richard Shanks, Stephen, William who married Rebecca Wells, Thomas married Nancy Jane Lloyd, Rebecca who married Thomas Andrews. My line then comes from William who married Rebecca Wells, their marriage was in Ross County, Ohio 5 Jan 1832. their Children were Nathan Teter Reeves, Mary Ellen, Susannah, John, James Levi Reeves, Pheby, Nancy J., Rose Ellen, Malinda, Gerve (Jarvis), Rebecca and William Jr.. Then my line goes to Nathan Teter Reeves ,who married Sarah Lane (she was from Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Their Children were Minnie, Nettie, Gardner, William A., Oliver (my grandfather B. 1873 in Milford, IL) and Anna. As I stated before, Oliver married my grandmother, Maude Cobb (they divorced later), their children were Desdemona (my mother) and Nathan.
