Listers, My oldest proven ancestor is Thompson Reeves b. 1799 either in Pendleton Dist. S.C. or over the line in Georgia. I know we often think this but I have really believed he might have been an orphan and lived for a time with an older brother or perhaps Uncle. He apparently married when he was about 16 to Lucinda Rilla ( almost always called Cinderella) who was probably a Robinson age 15. Because of good fortune with the Reeves DNA project as my nephew matched Beulah and Barry I believe he is either a grandson or great grandson of William Reeves who married Margaret in Granville Co. I am daily examining those lines. Presently I am focusing on Jeremiah the son of James and Grandson of William of Granville. May we all be more successful as we work together. Tommie Reeves Smith
