This is my Reeves line as I have it. If some one could give me proof that Tyre is son of Abner, would appreciate it. Some say a Malachi is Abner's father. Can any one help me on this. l. After Abner died Sarah md Jonathan Reeves, brother to Abner (Reeves Review II) Tyre Reeves b 14 May 1793 York Co. S.C. d 29 July 1873 Meriwether Co. GA. married Elizabeth Harper 25 April 1816 Georgia. Elizabeth (dau of John N. Harper) b 1796 Georgia and died 7 January 1866 1A. Nancy Jane Reeves b January 1826 Georgia, d 10 May 1907, De Leon, Comanche Co. Texas Md Stewart County GA to Alba J. Archer b 1832 d 1862 (CW), md 2nd Hiram Howell . 1A1:Martha Adeline Archer b 15 January 1860 Columbus Co. Georgia d 16 December 1909 De Leon, Comanche Co. Texas md William T. Henderson Camp Hill, Tallapoosa Co. Alabama 2 October 1881. (My Grandmother) There is another Reeves line in our John N. Harper line. A sister Nancy of Elizabeth Harper Reeves, wife of Tyre married A James Reeves as her second husband. Her first husband was a Matthew Phillips. James Reeves was son of a Jeremiah Reeves who was born in NC and died in GA. He was a Veteran of the 1812 War, a Baptist Minister and a farmer . (Probably Primitive Baptist ) They had three children that I have found: 1.Elizabeth "Eliza" Reeves lived in Cleveland Co. Ark md -----Barzell (?)and is buried in the Lone Sassafras Cem. In Drew Co. Ark. 2.Joseph A. Reeves b 22 August 1836 in Troup Co. GA. Lived in Miss. And in Ark. Had 2 sons and 2 daughters. He was a Pioneer Merchant in Camden, Ark. He married Lizzie Parker. 3.James Reeves b - was a Baptist Preacher in GA. 1890. (see Plus 7 to 9 more children not known or traced.
