Hello All, Carole and I are looking forward to the upcoming Reeves Genealogy Conference. As you know, this conference is being held in order to bring together those who are either researching or interested in the Reeves line that descends from Henry Reeves, Sr. of Essex County Virginia. The objectives of this conference are: 1) To share and redistribute existing Reeves genealogical research 2) To identify areas needing further research 3) To introduce forms and methods of documentation. 4) To discuss emerging genealogical tools such as DNA testing and the Reeves Surname Project at Family Tree DNA. 5) To get to know others that share an interest in this family line The conference is scheduled to get underway at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday March 5, 2005 in Dunnsville, Virginia. We have not set a specific end time. Our group will consist of between five to ten people depending on who can attend. Please feel free to bring any research in any form to share. We hope this will be an informal but productive opportunity to share different pieces of the Reeves research puzzle. This is your chance to see if anyone else has the answer to those research questions that have puzzled each of us over the years.
