Barry, You mentioned Elizabeth Lawson lived 1738-1782 . Do you know any more about her death? That would leave the opening for William Sr., to marry again to another Elizabeth before his death. The settlement of his estate indicated he had a wife named Elizabeth. This would open the door for you and I to perhaps be closer kin after all. I would appreciate feedback about this from anyone.
