1812 John Reeves bought nearly 200 acres on Ohio Rt 222 South of Rt 125. Aug 15,1812,Mrs Rachel Reeves m Wm Armstrrong 1820,the buyers in the John Reeves neighborhood lost a land suit,and some moved to Rush Co,Indiana. 1820 census of above neighboorhood has a Wm Armstrong,and no Reeves. An educated guess would say John Reeves,like his neighbors,was from old Gloucester Co,NJ'S Galloway,Great Egg Harbor,Greenwich or Woolwich townships. Add Deptford township.

We do have a John Reeves who had a younger sister, Rachell, but he settled in Monroe/Belmont Co, OH in 1840. I need to look thru some records, but it seems that a person, named Armstrong. was somehow linked to the Reeves Family. Do you have anymore info on Rachel?.
