    1. RE: Posting your line.
    2. We have had a lot of posts so far and hope some of you are finding a connection. I have found one and hope we can correspond and find more about the family. We need everyone to post their line so all can see. Don't sit back and wait and see if someone else will post something you might tie into. If we can make enough matches we can search and compare our notes on each line. Between the DNA program and the paper trail we can make progress in finding those very elusive ancestors. Happy Hunting, Beulah

Elizabeth McNab Martha REEVES b. 1844 d. 1867 Notes: William N Reeves was a prominent Baptist Minister and head of the Eufaula Baptist Church. He and brother Jere married sisters who were daughters of wealthy Eufaula citizen John McNAB. Decendents of these brothers still live in Eufaula and are associated with the REEVES Peanut Company. (I have some details if interested). Amelia (my direct ancestor) dies as does her husband James COBB leaving orphaned son William Reeves Cobb. The child is taken in by brother David Reeves (also minister) who moves north to Tarrytown NY. I am looking for any information about what brought James H Cobb (a Conn yankee) to Alabama around civil war time, and more on family in general. Especially wife Casander (sometimes spelled Capandra) and minister David Reeves
