Sue, I'm sorry that I can't answer your question, but I'm wondering if your Archibald Reeves is the father of my great great grandmother, Maretta Jane Reeves. She was from Covington, Newton Co., GA (according to my grandmother) and married Rufus M. Griffin. Maretta Jane was born in 1849. I think they moved to Randolph Co., Alabama.
