Listers, Barry mentioned our new Family line # 34977. When I looked it up it concerned the family of Leroy Reeves of Cobb, Co. I was very excited because I had spent some time over the years trying to learn more about the family. In the Cobb Co. Ga. 1850 three Reeves families are in consecutive order in the census. First is Littleton Reeves who is 33 , next is Leroy Reeves who is 47 and a third who is John Reeves age in the 40's. they each have wives and large families. In the 1840 census Malakiah Reeves age 70 is next door to Leroy. Two doors away is Littleton. I am not sure which Malakiah this is but his birth must have been about 1770. The reason for my interest is that my Great Grandfather, James Marion Reeves b. 1823 was in Gwinnett Co. G. in 1850 with a first young son named Littleton. This a very rarely used name to my finding. James Marion's father was Thompson Reeves b. 1799 in either S.C. Or Ga. I am eager to see any relationship in the DNA with that of Barry, Beulah and I. I will look forward to the possibility of communicating with this family. My best, Tommie Reeves Smith
