I received a couple good suggestions on my last query about Luther Reeves and his employer. I also copied the Registration form into my photo program and played with it. It appears the employer was MidWest Refining Co., and the location was somewhere in Natrona, WY. Makes sense, did a Google search on MidWest Refinning Co., and it did have oil camps in Natrona County, WY. Apparently had a headquarters there, among many other places. Also, Standard Oil of Indiana purchased MidWest Refining Co. in Illinois, not sure where the Illinois location was, yet. Guess, I have a lot of researching to do. Kind of exciting. Now, I wonder what kind of engineer he was. For the railroad in transporting of oil/gas or more in the scientific research field of locating the oil fields??? Questions bring answers and the answers bring many more questions. Thought I would relate this in case someone else came across a reference to the Midwest Refining Co. in their family search.
