Good Work Beulah, I have used part of my evening to look through old papers also. I did find a small copy of a small will of Icabod signed on Dec 23, 1836. Oddly though he only mentioned as children to receive inheritances , Simeon W.,Mary Ann, Samuel N. and James H. He mentions his wife but does not call her by name. Perhaps he had already given gifts to the others or they had died or perhaps were not in favor with him. I did not see that it showed the county or state. It was witnessed by William Tunstall, Joseph Herring and William Johnson. When possible I hope to see what I can dig up on some of the sons as far as male descendants. It well may be that someone just typed the message. It is not written by hand. I may have been the one to give you the material on the George Reeves, son of Thomas. Theirs is a very interesting family. Due to the fact it is 11:00 p.m. here in Texas I will post pone getting into it tonight but if anyone wants to hear it let me know. If you have a copy of the Reeves Review II it contains a story about Charlotte Reeves and the migration to what we know as Nashville Tn. Today. She was a gutsy lady and a statue stands near the river area in Nashville today to her honor. They did not turn out to be especially close ancestors to me. Thanks for all your work Beulah.
