His name is James Reeve (no "s") And yes I do know that the "s" comes and goes. My own great grandfather added and left off at will. Just for your info My Walter Sr & Jr, Micajah and Thomas were born in Burlington Co. Thomas died in Salem Co. We don't know for sure where Asa was born and died. He married in Salem Co, buried in Salem Co. Anthony W. Reeve was born and married in Salem Co, NJ. About 1852 he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. His wife died and he married Martha Godley who became my great grandmother. They moved to MN then to Des Moines Co, IA. My grandfather was born there. About 1880 they moved to Buffalo Co, NE. Where Anthony had planned to Homestead but he died before he could do anything. His wife completed the homestead. She died in 1901.
