Maybe this is a hint. Looked for Stacy Reeves who was next to Ambrose in the 1860 census in Iowa. Found him in Meigs Co Scipio Ohio in 1850. It could be Ambrose and family were in route to Iowa when census taken in 1860. There are several Irwin families in this location in 1850 so one of these could be the family of Sarah.
