I have traced my GGgrandfather Hamilton RIVES back from KY to the 1850 DeKalbCo TN census where he is listed as Hamilton REAVES age 25. I believe that he is the son of Hamilton REEVES in the 1840 DeKalb Co TN census and the 1830 White Co TN census as well as the Hambleton Reeves (over age 45) in the White Co TN Census. I have no proof of relationship. I also wonder if this is the same Hambleton RIVES b about 1768 in Bute Co NC and mentioned only 1 time in the Reliques of Ryves on page 416. Hamilton's Mother is listed in the 1850 census as Ann REAVES, being born in NC and a member of his household. She evidently came to KY with him and his family and is last listed in the 1860 Butler Co KY census as age 86. Any info on any of these would be appreciated as well as any siblings of Hamilton.
