Thanks for answering. I have no idea who this James M. Reeves but it caught my interest when it stated Jeremiah Reeves was his father. I was hoping someone on the list would could identify. Below is the site that I researching. The death certificates only cover a few years. I will have to try to find a true list of the descendants of the children in this family. There are other things that you can research on this site. _http://content.sos.state.ga.us/index.php_ (http://content.sos.state.ga.us/index.php) If you just type in Reeves you have quite a few and I found this one No. 382. It seems this James lived in Atlanta at the time of his death. He was buried in Cold Springs I know there are quite a few errors in the Reeves Review. Beulah If the info about James Milton Reeves being the son of Jeremiah Reeves, Jr. came from Reeves Review II, it is in error. I spent 6 months trying to document that connection with no success, as my great-grandfather was named James Milton Reeves. Reeves Review II shows some of my great-grandfather's children's names under his, so I know that book is in gross error in connecting him to Jeremiah. I have documented that my James Milton Reeves 1824-1897 was the son of William Reeves b.1794 in York County, SC. Of course there is a chance there were two James Milton Reeves in that time frame, but I have found no evidence of it. Anyone wishing to examine the correct lineage of my James Milton Reeves is invited to visit my rootsweb.com site at: <http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=paulreeves94&id=I0017> I will be glad to exchange information about this connection with anyone who is interested.
