    3. Lea: I have found a JOHN REAVES srved in American Revolution South Carolina 3rd Regiment. Publication No. M881 - Title: "CCompiles Service Records of Soldiers Who Served in the American Army During the Revolutionary War" - Publisher: N|ARA - Date: 1775-1785...State South Carolina - Third Regiment. The Company Pay Roll has the following on it: Dates: 1st Maarch to July - 17(looks like 1783 - no sure) anyway the notation reads: "Was left wounded in the ___not legible__) but has died. If any of you know of this man, his parents, siblings or children, please contact me. He just may be a father or uncle to our interest.
