Beulah I believe that the James you are talking about here is the one who first married Sarah McElroy and then Nancy (Harper) Phillips, although I have his death date as April 6th, 1858 in the seventy-fourth year of his age (History of Georgia Baptist page 319,320,321,322)The Nancy Harper Phillips is the sister to my gg grandfather William A. Louise Reeves gave the information ( probably a daughter of James) so that may be the reason Jeremiah M. mother's name was not known. She was listed as living at 127 Alexander, I assume this was in Atlanta, GA. Can anyone connect to this family???? I sure hope so as so many of my father family settled in or around Atlanta, GA.
