    3. The death certificates in Georgia's "Virtual Vault" have much more information than the transcriptions I've seen before. The names of the deceased's father and mother (maiden name) is particularly helpful. I picked up the maiden name of one of my great-grandmothers from my grandmother's certificate, who died in 1925. Do you know the ranges of dates for death certificates on file in the Georgia archives if one visits there? Also, do you know the first year they were issued?
