Sue, My only suggestion is one I have not personally used. From Belfast to Chicago leads me to think they may have been members of the Catholic Church. Another non Reeves associated line did that. Could you check the appropriate cities for Baptisms of Babies and their names? I have not proven my immigrants and my Thompson Reeves b. 1799 was born in S.C. Good luck to you.
