I know all are having a wonderful time on the beautiful fourth of July. My thoughts went back as to how our ancestors lived and wondered how many were already in America at that time. I know my Reeves were. There are papers where James was in the Militia and also worked on guns and was paid for it by our military. A lot of them made bullets for the soldiers. Some of those records are available at different state archives. I Our ancestors sacrificed a great deal that was are enjoying today. Everyone that knows or thinks they have an ancestor in America at that time email and tell us about that person. Do you know something about him or her? Some I know sold horses to the army; some sold food to the Army. They didn't always fight on the front line. Let us hear from you.
