Steve, Your Isaac Reeves caught my attention! We have a bevy of Isaacs that we can't straighten out. Our James Reeves, b abt 1760-1807, was the son of Isaac & Margaret Reeves, b. Ireland. James and his wife Sarah Holton had several children in Wilkes Co., NC and then moved to Mason Co., KY, where he died in 1807. His son Alexander moved to Sangamon Co., IL in 1819. There was another Isaac Reeves, b. abt 1767 in NC who was the son of Isaac Samuel Reeves and Margarey (sic) Briggs Watson. This Isaac S. Reeves was supposedly b. in Granville Co., NC in about 1725 and he died in Wilkes Co., NC in 1808. His son Isaac was b. abt 1767 and married Kerenhappuch Hesbes in 1793 in Wilkes Co., NC. They moved to TN for a few years and then on to Morgan Co., IL, just east of where Alexander Reeves lived in Sangamon Co. Isaac, Jr. also had a son Isaac. Question: Were James and Isaac, Jr. brothers??? Was James's father Isaac (supposedly from Ireland) and his wife Margaret one and the same as Isaac Samuel Reeves and his wife Margarey? Do any of these Isaacs sound like your Isaac? Carole

Hmmm.. thihnk you just filled in one or two names for me.. My Isaac APPEARS to be your Isaac Samuel.. but i have different parents (WIlliam and Margaret).. He has sons James and Isaac.. James married to a Rachel and Isaac to a Keren, with Isaac ending up in st clair, Morgan Co. Ill.. well.. better i should throw this out to you as the list i've had for years...
