Hello All, I'm very frustrated with my Reeves, as I've been at a dead end for years. I have two REEVES in the family who are likely from the same line, but I can't say for sure. People keep saying my REEVES must fit into the George REEVES and Mary JORDAN line from Brunswick, Virginia. I agree but can't find the connection. Any help is truly appreciated. Here's how my direct line goes: Fourth great-grandmother is: Sarah REEVES, b. Jun 18, 1796 in Milledgeville, McNairy Co., TN Married Charles SPENCER, abt. 1813 in Hickman, Co., TN Parents: UNKNOWN; Father, George REEVES?; Brother, George REEVES? My line is through Nancy SPENCER BINGHAM (divorced and changed name back to SPENCER) Nancy SPENCER's husband, Redden BINGHAM was a REEVES decedent. Winifred REEVES was Redden's Grandmother. Winifred was my sixth Great Grandmother: Winifred REEVES (sometimes Winefred REEVS or RIEVES), b./d.
