I am certain they came to SC at the same time and lived in the same area (along with Burgess, etc.); but I just can't get the connection. You may want to go back and check the census reports for Pickens (mine are filed away for the moment)....Let me know if you have a hit. No, he's the son of Asa, Sr. I do feel that they and Burgess are related inasmuch as they are in Pickens at the same time.
