Hello Reeves Researchers, I've been working on creating a list of good genealogy related web sites, and I recalled one that everyone should start with. Here is one that all of you should know about if you don't already it is Cyndi Howe's page. http://www.oz.net/~cyndihow/sites.htm According to her intro, it contains 11,900 links(connections to other similar pages). I hadn't looked at it since early last fall, and it has really grown. In addition to being huge, it also has lots of good info for people who are new to either genealogy or computers. She has one link called "Handy Online Starting Points" and a reference to a listserv for Newbies (more computer jargon: somebody new to computers). Newbies takes research and computer questions from begining internet users and then members answer. To subscribe to Newbies send an e-mail to gen-newbie-l-request@rootsweb.com (that's an L by the way--not a one) and in the message write only the word subscribe Barb Barb Langdon English, Academic Transfer Southeast Community College Lincoln, Ne bslangdo@sccm.cc.ne.us personal mail: blangdon@aol.com ------------------------------
